Overview
The AIPHONE AC-2DM-B is a compact PoE-powered two-door access controller designed for professional access-control installations in commercial buildings, offices, residential developments and other controlled-entry environments. It can manage the door where it is installed plus a second nearby door within approximately 500 ft, and it supports two Wiegand reader inputs, two solid-state dry-contact relays, four configurable inputs, integrated 12 VDC/500 mA lock power, 12 VDC/300 mA auxiliary power and an infrared motion sensor. The controller stores up to 100,000 user credentials and 50,000 events locally, includes a built-in diagnostic LCD, and communicates over IPv4/IPv6 using TCP, UDP and HTTPS. Because it is powered by IEEE 802.3af PoE, a single network cable can simplify installation and reduce the amount of local power wiring required. It can operate as a standalone controller or as part of a larger Aiphone AC Series deployment managed through AC Nio software. The related AC-2DM-W provides the same two-door PoE functionality in a white enclosure, while the wider AC Series allows much larger deployments. AC Nio is the central management platform used to administer doors, users, credentials, partitions, elevators, IP-camera integrations, custom actions and scheduled reports. The AC-2DE is a two-door expander board used with ACS-2DR systems; multiple AC-2DE boards can expand a controller enclosure to eight doors. AC-IOE provides eight dry-contact inputs and eight solid-state relay outputs, making it suitable for elevator or general I/O integration. The AC-HOST was a Linux-based embedded AC Nio server supporting applications of up to 40 doors, but Aiphone marks it as discontinued as of October 1, 2025. Likewise, the AC-PS1250 12 VDC/5 A power supply is marked discontinued as of July 1, 2025, so current projects should confirm replacement power-supply options with Aiphone. VEGA Digital IT Solutions LLC provides the Aiphone AC-2DM-B, AC-2DM-W, AC-2DE, AC-IOE, AC Nio and related AC Series products as a professional supplier and system integrator across Dubai, the UAE and the wider Middle East. VEGA Digital can design complete solutions using the ACS-2DR Two-Door Access Control Starter Kit, which can expand to eight doors, and the ACS-ELV Elevator Starter Kit, which supports one elevator cab with up to eight floors and can scale to two cabs and up to 64 floors using additional AC-IOE boards. System-installation services can include site survey, PoE and network design, Wiegand reader integration, electric-lock and door-contact wiring, exit-button and motion-sensor configuration, AC Nio programming, user and access-level setup, elevator I/O mapping, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and future expansion. This enables VEGA Digital to deliver a scalable Aiphone access-control solution ranging from a simple two-door PoE installation to larger multi-door and elevator-access systems
