Akuvox Bkey

The Akuvox Bkey is a compact Bluetooth-based wireless access credential and door-opening button designed to provide fast, convenient entry without requiring users to touch the access-control terminal or present a traditional RFID card. Once the Bkey is assigned to an authorized user and Bluetooth access is enabled on the compatible Akuvox door phone or access terminal, the user can unlock the door simply by pressing its button within the configured operating range. Akuvox allows the installer to adjust the Bkey trigger signal according to the required opening distance, while the actual tested range depends on the connected terminal—for example, Akuvox documents ranges from approximately 3 metres up to 15 metres across supported models. This makes the Bkey particularly convenient for residential entrances, offices, gated facilities, industrial parks and users who prefer a simple physical access credential instead of a smartphone application. The Akuvox Bkey is designed as a lightweight everyday credential with a durable black plastic enclosure, integrated key-ring opening, single push button and red/blue status indicator. It is powered by a replaceable CR2032 battery, with Akuvox specifying approximately one year of battery life under normal usage, and measures only 31 × 52.5 × 17.36 mm with a weight of around 7 g. Its specified operating range is approximately -20°C to +55°C, with 10–93% working humidity. The Bkey works with supported Bluetooth-enabled Akuvox products and compatible firmware, including devices such as A03, A05 V2, A08, S539, S538, S535, S532, X916, X915 V2, X912, X910 and R29C. Each Bkey can be registered against a specific user in the Akuvox device directory, allowing administrators to manage who can use the credential and apply the relevant access permissions.
