Akuvox S560

The Akuvox S560 SIP-Based Handset Indoor Unit is a compact, economical Linux-based IP intercom handset designed for apartments, villas, offices, staff accommodation and other projects where reliable voice communication and door release are required without a video screen. It connects to compatible Akuvox door phones for two-way audio communication and remote door unlocking and can be deployed and maintained through the Akuvox SmartPlus platform together with compatible entrance stations and the SmartPlus mobile application. The S560 provides a traditional handset experience with a dedicated ringtone speaker and handset speaker, making it particularly suitable for users who prefer conventional telephone-style door communication. It has one 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port, supports IEEE 802.3af PoE or an external 12 VDC power supply, and can be installed either wall-mounted or on a desktop. The compact enclosure measures approximately 216.2 × 63.1 × 53 mm, and Akuvox currently provides the S560 family in both black and white versions.The S560 is designed as the straightforward handset option within Akuvox’s wider indoor-monitor portfolio. For projects that later require a graphical interface or video viewing, the system can be expanded with models such as the S562 7" Linux indoor monitor, S563 8" SIP indoor monitor, S565 10" video indoor monitor, S567 10.1" Android indoor monitor, X933 7" Android indoor monitor, or the larger X937 15.6" surveillance and intercom AI monitor. The S560 itself focuses on basic intercom calling and unlocking rather than touchscreen video functions, while Akuvox’s current firmware platform adds useful operational capabilities such as configurable call forwarding in DND mode, automatic dialing when the handset is lifted, custom ringtones for different door phones and, on supported firmware, remote/web-relay triggering using the Unlock key.
