The Crestron AM-TX3-100 AirMedia® Series 3 Connect Adaptor is a compact professional wireless presentation and BYOM accessory designed for meeting rooms, boardrooms, huddle spaces and modern collaboration environments. It connects directly to a user’s laptop through its integrated USB-C connector and can begin sharing content to a paired AirMedia Series 3 Receiver within seconds, with no software or driver installation required. The adaptor supports presentation resolutions up to 4K30 using DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C and communicates wirelessly with compatible AirMedia Series 3 receivers through dual-band Wi-Fi 6. Up to eight AM-TX3-100 adaptors can be paired with a single compatible receiver, making it easy for several meeting participants to connect and present without repeatedly configuring the room system. A major advantage of the AM-TX3-100 is its support for AirMedia Wireless Conferencing when paired with compatible receivers such as the AM-3100-WF or AM-3200-WF. In this configuration, a user’s laptop can gain wireless access to supported in-room USB cameras, microphones, speakerphones and other conferencing peripherals connected to the AirMedia receiver, allowing those devices to be used directly with applications such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom. This creates a convenient plug-and-play BYOM experience where employees use their own laptops while benefiting from the professionally installed room camera and audio system. The adaptor uses USB-C native video communication, includes an RGB status ring, and supports Windows 10/11 and macOS 11 or newer.
