CP4

The Crestron CP4 is a high-performance 4-Series™ rack-mount control processor designed to serve as the central automation and control engine for sophisticated boardrooms, conference rooms, training facilities, command centres and smart-building environments. Powered by Crestron’s multicore 4-Series architecture, the CP4 delivers significantly higher processing performance than earlier 3-Series processors and can run up to 10 independent programs simultaneously, allowing complex AV, lighting, shading, HVAC, security and room-control functions to operate from one platform. It includes 2 GB SDRAM and 8 GB flash memory, together with built-in IR/serial, COM, relay, Versiport I/O, Cresnet, USB and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, enabling direct integration with a broad range of Crestron and third-party equipment. Native BACnet/IP support enables integration with building-management systems for HVAC, lighting and related services, while SNMP V3, IEEE 802.1X, Active Directory authentication, SSH, TLS, HTTPS and IPv6 support help the processor meet modern IT security requirements. Its onboard control ports include eight isolated relay outputs, serial communications for RS-232/422/485 devices, IR/serial outputs and Cresnet connectivity, while Gigabit Ethernet provides IP control of Crestron DM NVX systems, audio processors and other network-connected equipment.
