Dahua KTA04

The Dahua KTA04 Video Intercom Kit is a compact 4-wire analog video door-entry solution designed for villas, apartments, small offices, and residential properties. The kit combines the DHI-VTH1010J indoor monitor with the DHI-VTO1000J outdoor door station. The VTH1010J features a 4.3-inch TFT display with 480 × 272 resolution, touch buttons, voice/video calling, remote door unlocking, volume adjustment, and multiple bell tones. The outdoor VTO1000J uses a 1.3 MP CMOS camera with approximately 70° horizontal / 40° vertical viewing angle, DWDR, automatic IR illumination, day/night switching, microphone and speaker, door-status input, and remote unlock control. Its IP66-rated enclosure and approximately -30°C to +60°C operating range make the door station suitable for protected exterior entrances. Dahua currently lists the original KTA04 as end-of-life, so availability should be confirmed before specifying it for a new project. The related Dahua KTA02 and KTA03 kits provide larger 7-inch indoor displays while retaining the same straightforward analog 4-wire architecture. KTA02 combines the VTH1020J 7-inch indoor monitor, with 1024 × 600 resolution and touch-button operation, with the VTO1000J outdoor station; Dahua specifies support for up to 2 door stations and 3 indoor monitors, together with video calling, voice calling, unlocking, volume adjustment, multiple bell sounds, and DWDR. KTA03 upgrades the indoor unit to the VTH1020J-T, retaining the 7-inch 1024 × 600 display while adding touch-keypad operation and visitor snapshot capability; it also supports up to 2 outdoor stations and 3 indoor monitors. This makes KTA04 suitable where a compact 4.3-inch monitor is adequate, KTA02 preferable where a larger 7-inch screen is required, and KTA03 the better option where snapshot recording and a more interactive indoor station are desired.
