The Dahua VTH8621KMS-WP IP & Wi-Fi Indoor Monitor is a premium digital video-intercom indoor station designed for villas, apartments, hotels, offices, and modern residential developments. It features a 7-inch capacitive TFT touchscreen with 1024 × 600 resolution, an embedded Linux operating system, high-quality built-in speaker and microphone, full two-way audio with echo suppression, and support for H.264/H.265 video decoding. The monitor supports both 10/100 Mbps Ethernet and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, with WPA/WPA2 wireless security, and can be powered using Standard PoE or 12 VDC. It displays live video automatically when a visitor calls from the door station, supports customizable Do Not Disturb mode, receives text information from the management center, and can record visitor video when a microSD card up to 64 GB is installed. The VTH8621KMS-WP is also suitable for integrated security and smart-building applications because it provides 6 wired alarm inputs, 1 alarm output, 1 RS-485 interface, doorbell input functionality, SIP communication, RTSP/RTP networking, ONVIF interoperability, and SDK integration. Dahua supports multiple extension arrangements, including up to 9 indoor extensions for villa applications, 4 for apartment configurations, and Wi-Fi configurations with one main monitor plus two extension monitors. Its elegant metal/aluminum-style enclosure is designed for surface mounting and measures approximately 185 × 147 × 22.4 mm. Operating temperatures range from around -10°C to +55°C, with low power consumption of approximately ≤3 W in standby and ≤7 W during operation, making it well suited to continuous residential and commercial use.
