Dahua VTS8A40B-CG Master Station

The Dahua VTS8A40B-CG Master Station is a professional IP video-intercom management console designed for security rooms, concierge desks, reception areas, residential compounds, industrial sites and emergency communication centers. It features a 10-inch capacitive touchscreen with 1024 × 600 resolution, a built-in 5 MP CMOS camera, Android 11 operating system, handset, speakerphone and gooseneck microphone support. The station provides two-way audio and video communication, echo suppression and digital noise reduction, H.264/H.265 video decoding, and can display up to four 720p video channels simultaneously from Dahua door stations or IP cameras. It also supports remote door unlocking during calls or live monitoring, video recording, snapshots, MicroSD storage up to 512 GB, HDMI output, web configuration, SIP, ONVIF, CGI and SDK integration, making it suitable as a centralized communication and security-management point. The VTS8A40B-CG can operate in both building-intercom and industrial-intercom modes. In building mode, Dahua specifies support for up to 32 master stations and 32 IP cameras, while industrial mode can connect as many as 300 IP VTA emergency terminals plus 32 IPCs. Hardware interfaces include Gigabit Ethernet, RS-485, HDMI, USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and a 12 VDC/200 mA auxiliary power output. The unit is desk-mounted, finished in titanium gray, powered by 12 VDC / 4 A, and operates from approximately -10°C to +55°C, with power consumption of around ≤5 W standby and ≤10 W during operation. These capabilities make it well suited for projects that require one operator to manage visitor calls, emergency communications, door release, video monitoring and event recording from a single console.
