Door Interface

The Suprema DI-24 Door Interface is a professional 2-door, 4-reader access-control expansion module designed for corporate offices, commercial buildings, data centres, educational facilities and other enterprise security environments. It integrates directly with the Suprema CoreStation series through RS-485, allowing organisations to expand door capacity without deploying a separate intelligent controller at every access point. The DI-24 supports up to four RFID readers and two doors, with three RS-485 channels supporting OSDP V2, two Wiegand interfaces, four relay outputs, six configurable or supervised inputs, six outputs and three auxiliary inputs for AC power failure, tamper and fire-alarm integration. Its built-in cryptographic hardware and OSDP secure communication capabilities help provide a robust architecture for modern access-control systems.A major feature of the DI-24 is its offline access-control capability, which enables the module to continue managing supported door-access functions even if communication with the main CoreStation controller is temporarily interrupted. The module can also provide power to two readers and two door locks, simplifying panel design and reducing additional power-supply requirements in suitable installations.
