The Hikvision DS-2CD3843G2-AP is a professional 4 MP indoor box network camera from Hikvision’s Ultra/SmartIP range, designed for security applications where the project requires flexible lens selection, high-quality imaging and advanced video analytics. It delivers up to 2688 × 1520 resolution at 25/30 fps, provides 120 dB True WDR, an SNR of at least 52 dB, BLC, HLC and 3D DNR, and supports day/night operation through an IR-cut filter. Unlike a conventional fixed bullet or turret camera, it uses a C/CS lens mount, allowing the integrator to select the appropriate lens for the required field of view, identification distance and mounting position; DC-Iris and P-Iris control are supported depending on the selected lens. Its AcuSense deep-learning capabilities include human and vehicle classification, line crossing, intrusion, region entrance/exit, face capture, unattended-baggage detection, object-removal detection, loitering, people gathering, fast-moving and parking detection. The camera also supports H.265+/H.265/H.264+, up to four video streams under supported configurations, microSD storage up to 512 GB, NAS/ANR recording, alarm input/output, audio input/output, RS-485, ONVIF, ISAPI and SDK integration, as well as 12 VDC, 24 VAC and IEEE 802.3af PoE power options. It integrates with HikCentral, Hik-Connect and iVMS-4200, making it suitable for control rooms, banks, offices, commercial facilities, reception zones and other professionally designed CCTV applications.
