Overview
The FERMAX MEET Desktop Guard Unit – Ref. 95391 is a professional concierge and security-management terminal for residential towers, gated communities, hotels, campuses, offices, and other multi-tenant properties using the FERMAX MEET IP video-intercom platform. It features a 10.1-inch capacitive colour TFT touchscreen with 1024 × 600 resolution, an integrated handset plus hands-free audio, MEET P2P communication, SIP/VoIP compatibility, audible and visual alarm notifications, RTSP IP-camera compatibility, and an audio/video answering-machine function. The unit can operate in General Guard or Block Guard mode, enabling a concierge to call apartments, receive calls from entrance panels and residents, review missed calls, manage alarms, transfer or forward calls, and record conversations when an SD card is installed. FERMAX specifies a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 processor, 4 GB flash, 512 MB RAM, RJ45 Ethernet, SD-card slot, built-in web server, 12 VDC or PoE power, and an operating range of approximately -10°C to +55°C. An external RTSP IP camera can also be associated with the Guard Unit so residents can see the concierge during calls. The Ref. 95391 Guard Unit works with the wider FERMAX MEET ecosystem rather than as a standalone product. Related equipment includes MEET Management Software – Ref. 9540 for centralized configuration and property administration, MEET PC Proximity Reader – Ref. 9538 for credential management, MEET Proximity Reader – Ref. 9535, and compatible MEET entrance panels, NEO and WIT indoor monitors, PoE networking, and RTSP cameras. FERMAX specifically lists an external concierge IP camera option, and its current catalogue notes that the Guard Unit can receive alarms from monitors and panels, review missed calls, and support call diversion to the MEET ME app. For smaller or apartment-level systems that need to integrate into the same infrastructure, FERMAX also offers complete kits such as the 1/W MEET Video WIT 10" White Kit – Ref. 1506 and 1/W MEET Video WIT 10" Black Kit – Ref. 1507, along with accessories such as the NEO/WIT Monitor Connector – Ref. 95411 and other MEET mounting, switching, relay, and network accessories. VEGA Digital IT Solutions LLC can supply and integrate the FERMAX MEET Desktop Guard Unit Ref. 95391 and complete FERMAX MEET solution across Dubai and the UAE, including concierge stations, entrance panels, WIT/NEO monitors, MEET Management Software, proximity readers, PoE switches, electric locks, CCTV cameras, alarm inputs, and structured CAT6 infrastructure. System installation can include site survey, concierge-desk planning, PoE/12 VDC power design, IP addressing and VLAN configuration, Guard Unit setup in General or Block mode, apartment-directory programming, call transfer/forward configuration, MEET ME integration, RTSP concierge-camera setup, alarm routing, SD-card recording, lock and entrance-panel integration, testing, commissioning, and operator training. FERMAX notes that functions such as Mode, Call Forward and Call Transfer require compatible firmware, and its installer documentation states that Ref. 95391 may require Backward Compatibility to be enabled in older V3.0 MEET installations; mixed installations using older Ref. 9539 Guard Units also require the 95391 to be configured appropriately as the master unit.
