LEGRAND Advanced Radio Doorbell

The LEGRAND Advanced Radio Doorbell – Ref. 94279 is a wireless additional push-button designed to extend Legrand COMFORT and ADVANCED radio chime systems without the need for new doorbell wiring. The white surface-mounted unit includes an illuminated nameplate area, operates by RF radio transmission, and is powered by a CR2032 lithium battery. Legrand specifies a radio operating range of up to 100 m when paired with COMFORT kits and up to 200 m with ADVANCED kits, depending on installation conditions. It can be associated with up to four doorbells on one chime, making it useful for properties with several entrances, while one doorbell can also be paired with multiple chimes for multi-level or larger buildings. The push-button is supplied with double-sided adhesive and fixing screws for easy installation; Legrand also states reinforced weather protection for the doorbell and recommends installing it in a sheltered outdoor position rather than exposing it directly to severe weather.The wider LEGRAND wireless doorbell family offers several choices according to distance and functionality. The Standard Radio Kit Ref. 94250 provides a 50 m range, 80 dB chime and 32 melodies, while the Comfort Radio Kit Ref. 94252 in white and Ref. 94253 in dark grey provide 100 m range, 75 dB sound output and 15 selectable melodies.
