The SALTO Neo – Swing Handle Cylinder is a compact electronic half-cylinder specifically designed to secure server racks and cabinets equipped with swing handles. It is compatible with many standard rack-handle systems, including common Dirak® and Emka®-style applications, making it particularly suitable for data centres, IT rooms, telecom cabinets and other infrastructure areas where physical access to equipment must be tightly controlled. The cylinder supports RFID credentials, Bluetooth Low Energy and NFC digital keys, and works with SALTO technology platforms such as SALTO Space, SALTO KS and SALTO Homelok. It is available in lengths from approximately 40 mm to 45 mm, with optional 5 mm or 10 mm knob extensions for swing handles that use sliding covers. The SALTO Neo Swing Handle Cylinder is designed with strong security and easy maintenance in mind. Communication between credentials and the electronic cylinder is encrypted, while support for SALTO SVN and BLUEnet Wireless enables centralized access-right updates and wireless management where required. A dual-colour green/red LED light ring provides clear access authorization feedback, with optional acoustic signalling. The cylinder also includes anti-drilling protection, a special auto-locking cam, optional Torx fixing to convert the knob into a fixed-knob configuration, and emergency opening using a SALTO Portable Programming Device (PPD). Batteries can be replaced without removing the complete cylinder, helping reduce service time during maintenance.
