Suprema BioStation L2

The Suprema BioStation L2 is a high-performance fingerprint access control and time-attendance terminal designed for organizations that need fast biometric authentication, large user capacity and dependable day-to-day operation. It uses a 500 dpi optical fingerprint sensor with Suprema’s advanced matching technology and Live Fingerprint Detection (LFD) to help distinguish real fingerprints from spoofing attempts. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and supports up to 500,000 users, up to 100,000 fingerprint credentials for 1:N identification, and up to 500,000 fingerprint, card or PIN credentials for 1:1 authentication. Depending on the model, BioStation L2 supports 125 kHz EM or 13.56 MHz MIFARE, MIFARE Plus, DESFire EV1/EV2 and FeliCa credentials, with NFC support available on the applicable smart-card version. The BioStation L2 is designed for flexible integration into modern access control environments. It includes a 2-inch colour TFT display, touch keypad, 16-bit Hi-Fi audio feedback and built-in tamper detection. Communication options include 10/100 Ethernet, RS-485, OSDP V2 compliance and selectable Wiegand input/output, along with two TTL inputs and one relay for direct connection to compatible door-control equipment. It can store up to 1,000,000 event logs, supports fingerprint templates in Suprema, ISO 19794-2 and ANSI-378 formats, and uses a dedicated cryptographic chip for enhanced security.
