Suprema FaceLite

The Suprema FaceLite is a compact facial recognition access control terminal designed for organizations that require fast, contactless and reliable user authentication in a space-efficient form factor. Powered by Suprema’s facial biometric technology, FaceLite delivers high-speed facial matching while supporting operation in challenging lighting conditions of up to approximately 25,000 lux. It incorporates infrared-based Live Face Detection to help prevent spoofing attempts and supports multiple authentication methods, including face recognition, RFID cards, PIN and mobile credentials. The FL-DB model supports credential technologies including 125 kHz EM, 13.56 MHz MIFARE, MIFARE Plus, DESFire EV1/EV2 and FeliCa, together with NFC and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) mobile credentials, making it suitable for organizations transitioning from traditional cards to modern contactless access. The FaceLite is engineered for enterprise-scale access control, supporting up to 30,000 users, approximately 4,000 facial credentials for 1:N identification, and up to 30,000 face, card and PIN credentials for 1:1 authentication. It features a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 8 GB flash memory, 1 GB RAM, dedicated cryptographic hardware and a 2-inch colour TFT display. Communication options include 10/100 Ethernet, RS-485 with OSDP V2 compliance, selectable Wiegand input/output, two digital inputs, one relay and USB 2.0, providing flexibility for integration with both modern and existing access-control infrastructure. Face templates can be protected using AES-256 encryption, while built-in tamper detection adds another layer of physical security.
