The INOGENI U-BRIDGE is a professional USB 2.0 long-distance extender designed for conference rooms, boardrooms, training facilities, classrooms and hybrid collaboration environments where cameras, microphones and other USB peripherals must be installed far from the Room PC or conferencing system. It extends USB 2.0 connections up to 100 metres / 330 feet over a single CAT5e, CAT6 or CAT7 cable, overcoming the normal distance limitations of USB while maintaining reliable communication with professional AV equipment. The system supports USB 2.0 speeds up to 480 Mbps and USB 1.1 up to 12 Mbps, making it suitable for conferencing cameras, whiteboards, microphones, audio devices, keyboards, flash drives and other supported USB peripherals. INOGENI also lists compatibility with professional cameras and room systems from brands including AVer, Jabra, Logitech, Huddly, Lenovo, Poly, Cisco, Crestron, Q-SYS and Barco.For professional AV installations, the U-BRIDGE consists of separate PC HOST and DEVICE extender modules connected by the CAT cable. The DEVICE side provides a USB Type-A connection for the peripheral and can supply up to 1A of power, while the PC HOST side connects to the conferencing computer through USB Type-B. Power can be applied at either end of the extender, providing useful flexibility when equipment is distributed between the meeting table, display wall and AV rack. The system uses INOGENI’s ExtremeUSB technology for transparent extension and requires no additional software drivers, supporting major operating systems including Windows, macOS and Linux.
