UniFi G3 Intercom

The UniFi G3 Intercom (UA-G3-Intercom) is Ubiquiti’s latest indoor/outdoor smart entrance terminal for residential towers, offices, gated communities, campuses, hotels, and commercial buildings. It features a bright 7-inch capacitive multi-touch portrait display with 1024 × 600 resolution and up to 1,000-nit brightness, an integrated camera system capable of up to 1200 × 1600 video at 30 fps, built-in microphone and speaker for two-way video intercom and doorbell communication, and an intuitive resident/contact directory. Access methods include NFC cards and key fobs, PIN, dynamic QR-code unlocking, UniFi Identity mobile credentials, Apple/Google Wallet Touch Pass, mobile unlock, and Face Unlock, giving sites multiple options for staff, residents, contractors, and visitors. The unit connects over Gigabit Ethernet and PoE, has a maximum power consumption of about 13 W, and is built with aluminum alloy, UV-stabilized polycarbonate, and glass. With IP65 weather resistance, an operating range of approximately -30°C to +60°C, and wall, flush, angled, or pedestal mounting options, the G3 Intercom is designed for demanding indoor and outdoor entrance locations. The G3 Intercom operates as part of the broader UniFi Access ecosystem and is particularly suited to multi-tenant entrances where visitors need to search a directory and call a specific resident, tenant, office, or security desk. UniFi Access can combine the G3 Intercom with products such as Access Control Hubs, G3 Reader Pro, G3 Reader, G3 Reader Fingerprint, G3 Reader Flex, the standard UniFi Intercom, compatible electric locks, request-to-exit devices, and UniFi Consoles. Ubiquiti’s current platform also supports Touch Pass, which lets authorized users tap a compatible phone or watch on the G3 Intercom without manually opening an app, as well as QR-based guest entry and mobile credentials. For organizations that already operate a telephone or unified-communications platform, the G3 Intercom can also integrate with a third-party SIP server or UniFi Talk, allowing intercom calls to be routed to compatible SIP devices and enabling authorized users to communicate with visitors and remotely release the door.
