ZKTeco VT10-B21L

The ZKTeco VT10-B21L Smart Video Indoor Monitor is a Linux-based IP video intercom terminal designed for apartments, residential towers, offices and other multi-unit developments. It features a large 10.1-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 1024 × 600 resolution, built-in microphone and speaker, G.711 audio with echo cancellation, and H.264 video decoding for clear two-way visitor communication. The VT10-B21L supports SIP 2.0, enabling integration with compatible ZKTeco video-intercom systems and IP-PBX platforms, while functions include audio/video intercom, main-door release, elevator control, emergency calling and security alarm monitoring. For building-security integration, it provides RS485 connectivity and support for eight sensor/alarm zones, including smoke, gas, PIR, door, window, panic and flood sensors. Network connectivity is through a 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port, and power can be supplied by IEEE 802.3af PoE or 12 VDC/2 A, simplifying installation through structured IP cabling.The related ZKTeco VT10-B21A retains the same 10.1-inch 1024 × 600 capacitive touchscreen, SIP 2.0 communication, H.264 video, G.711 audio, RS485 interface, eight alarm zones and PoE/DC power architecture, but uses Android 6.0 rather than Linux. It is equipped with 1 GB RAM and 4 GB ROM, compared with the VT10-B21L’s 64 MB RAM and 128 MB ROM, and ZKTeco specifically provides Android SDK support for third-party application integration. The VT10-B21A also supports room-to-room communication, emergency calls, security alarms, main-door release and elevator-control integration. This makes the VT10-B21L well suited to streamlined, dedicated intercom deployments where a controlled Linux environment is preferred, while the VT10-B21A is better suited to projects requiring Android-based customization or integration with additional building applications.
