Overview
The CAME 702 R N1 (702RN1) Motor-Driven Tripod Turnstile is a premium bi-directional waist-height pedestrian access-control turnstile designed for corporate offices, commercial buildings, gyms, schools, industrial facilities, transport locations and other sites requiring continuous controlled pedestrian flow. It uses a durable AISI 304 stainless-steel structure and tripod arms, with optional AISI 316 stainless steel or painted finishes, and includes LED status/direction indicators on the sides together with a passage indicator on the top. The 702 R N1 incorporates an automatic drop-arm emergency system: during a power failure or emergency condition, the horizontal arm drops to clear the passage. Operating modes can be configured from the electronic control system, and the unit can interface with virtually any third-party access-control platform through dry-contact inputs/outputs. Optional communications include RS232, RS485 and TCP/IP, while CAME also lists an integrated Wi-Fi module on current 702 R N1 documentation. It is rated for indoor and outdoor use, continuous 24/7 duty, 110/220 VAC power, and temperatures from approximately -20°C to +68°C, extendable to around -50°C with an optional heater. CAME specifies approximately 25 passages per minute in motor-driven operation and around 30 passages per minute in manual configuration, depending on the access-control equipment and operating conditions. The related CAME 702 R is also listed in CAME’s UAE pedestrian-access portfolio as a motor-driven, bi-directional single tripod turnstile and belongs to the same heavy-duty access-control family. The currently published detailed technical documentation is more extensive for the 702 R N1, which adds the documented electronic configuration environment, drop-arm emergency function and optional serial/network communication architecture described above. Both models are intended to operate with external credential systems such as RFID/smart-card readers, biometric terminals, QR-code readers and visitor-management platforms, allowing one or both directions to be controlled according to the building’s access policy. For new Dubai projects, VEGA Digital can select between an existing/legacy 702 R installation and the current 702 R N1 configuration after confirming controller generation, required interfaces, finish, environmental conditions and access-reader type. CAME’s UAE catalogue continues to list both 702 R and 702 R N1 as motor-driven bidirectional tripod solutions. As an organized CAME partner and system integrator across Dubai, VEGA Digital IT Solutions LLC can provide complete implementation of the 702 R N1 and related 702 R systems, beginning with site survey, pedestrian-flow and lane planning, floor preparation and cable routing, followed by mechanical anchoring, 110/220 VAC power connection, control wiring and access-controller integration. VEGA Digital can interface the turnstile with RFID/card readers, fingerprint or facial-recognition terminals, QR visitor credentials, reception systems, visitor-management software and fire-alarm/emergency-release systems, using dry contacts or optional RS232/RS485/TCP-IP communication where required. Final commissioning can include passage-direction programming, reader authorization testing, LED/status verification, drop-arm emergency testing, power-failure simulation, throughput checks and operator training, delivering a professionally integrated CAME pedestrian turnstile and access-control solution for offices, gyms, commercial towers, schools, industrial facilities and premium developments throughout Dubai and the UAE. CAME describes tripod turnstiles as solutions for controlled pedestrian-flow applications including company facilities, gyms, museums and similar environments.
