CAME GARD GT4

The CAME GARD GT4 Automatic Barrier is a new-generation heavy-duty vehicle-access barrier designed for residential communities, commercial car parks, corporate buildings, hotels, logistics facilities and high-traffic entrances. It supports a net clearance up to 5 metres and uses a 24 V DC irreversible operator with encoder and Advanced Speed Control, automatically optimizing acceleration, speed and deceleration according to boom length and movement. CAME rates the GT4 for intensive operation of up to 350 cycles per hour, with an MCBF of approximately 3 million cycles, while the 90° opening time can be adjusted from approximately 2 to 6 seconds. The cabinet carries IP54 protection and is available in RAL 7024 galvanized steel, customized RAL finishes, AISI 304 stainless steel or AISI 316 stainless steel. Integrated high-visibility red/green LED indicators on the cabinet crown and boom provide clear traffic signalling, while the control board includes a display, CAME CONNECT, CXN BUS accessory connectivity and MODBUS integration for third-party access-control, parking and building-management systems. GT4 also supports accessories including photocells, safety profiles, loop detectors, breakaway boom protection and auxiliary battery systems for operation during a power outage.Within the same family, the CAME GARD GT8 is designed for wider entrances and industrial applications, supporting a maximum clear passage of approximately 7.8 metres. It retains the 24 V DC encoder-controlled architecture, CAME CONNECT and MODBUS interoperability but is optimized for longer booms, with approximately 160 cycles per hour, 4–8 second opening time, IP54 protection and an MCBF of around 3 million cycles. GT8 supports one-piece booms up to approximately 4 or 6 metres and modular boom configurations approaching 8 metres, together with red/green LED signalling and optional breakaway protection on appropriate boom lengths. The more economical CAME GARD LT4 is intended for entrances up to 4 metres and offers up to 300 cycles per hour, an MCBF of approximately 1.5 million cycles, 24 V DC motor with encoder and Advanced Speed Control, adjustable opening from approximately 2–6 seconds, IP54 protection and optional battery backup. LT4 also supports CAME CONNECT and MODBUS, allows right- or left-hand boom installation, provides integrated accessory spaces and uses a high-visibility signalling LED on the boom. This gives VEGA Digital three scalable options: LT4 for cost-effective 4 m entrances, GT4 for intensive 5 m vehicle lanes, and GT8 for large entrances up to 7.8 m.
