CAME GUARDIAN

The CAME GUARDIAN Full-Height Turnstile is a high-security pedestrian access-control solution designed for locations where preventing unauthorized passage is a priority, including industrial facilities, construction sites, stadiums, transport environments, corporate compounds, warehouses and high-security commercial premises. GUARDIAN is available in single and double configurations, with either three 120° sectors or four 90° sectors. Standard versions use a RAL 7035 painted galvanized-steel structure with AISI 304 stainless-steel rotor and arms, while a complete AISI 304 stainless-steel construction can also be specified. Each unit incorporates an electronic control board, hydraulic braking system, LED directional indicators, multifunction display and courtesy lighting. The system is bidirectional and can be configured for controlled entry and exit, while integration with external access systems is available through clean/dry contacts. CAME specifies IP44 protection, 120–230 VAC power, continuous high-security operation, operating temperatures from approximately -20°C to +55°C and up to 10 passages per minute depending on the installation and authorization process. During a power failure, the passage can be released for movement in either direction to support emergency evacuation.The GUARDIAN family includes PSGS3, the single-lane version with three 120° sectors; PSGD3, the double version with three-sector rotors; PSGS4, the single version with four 90° sectors; and PSGD4, the corresponding double four-sector configuration. This allows projects to select between smoother three-sector pedestrian rotation or the more segmented four-sector configuration according to security and throughput requirements. CAME also provides provision for its own transponder readers and additional control boards capable of locally managing up to 500 users, while third-party access-control platforms can authorize passages and receive passage feedback through dry-contact interfaces. The single three-sector PSGS3 weighs approximately 360 kg, the double PSGD3 around 670 kg, the single four-sector PSGS4 around 430 kg, and the double PSGD4 approximately 800 kg, reflecting the heavy-duty construction intended for secure installations.
