CAME PG03-55
Bi-Directional Motor-Driven Pedestrian Access Gate with Swinging Tempered-Glass Wings
Key Features
Design: Features an AISI 304 brushed stainless steel structure (optional AISI 316) with a 10 mm black tempered glass top lid and swing glass doors.
Dimensions: Offers a standard 550 mm net passage width with glass door height options of 900 mm or 1200 mm.
Operation: Operates in a master-slave paired configuration using an integrated infrared sensor system to monitor traffic and ensure secure passage.
Safety: Allows manual movement of the gates by hand during a power outage.
Overview
The CAME PG03-55 Speed Gate is a bi-directional motor-driven pedestrian access gate with swinging tempered-glass wings, designed for corporate offices, commercial buildings, hotels, government facilities and other controlled-access environments. It uses a brushed AISI 304 stainless-steel structure, with AISI 316 available as an option, a black tempered-glass top panel and tempered-glass wings available in approximately 900 mm or 1200 mm heights. The PG03-55 operates in a paired master/slave configuration and incorporates an integrated infrared monitoring system to supervise pedestrian passage. CAME supplies the model in single, double and combined multi-lane configurations, with a standard 550 mm clear passage width, side status indicators and a top passage indicator to guide users. The gate supports selectable free or controlled passage modes, can accommodate third-party access readers, and interfaces with external access-control systems through dry-contact inputs and outputs. Optional communication modules support RS232, RS485 and TCP/IP, while the glass wings can be manually moved in the event of a power failure. The related CAME PG03-90 uses the same swing-gate architecture, stainless-steel and tempered-glass construction, infrared monitoring, master/slave operation and third-party access-control compatibility, but increases the clear passage to 900 mm. This wider lane is specifically suitable for people with reduced mobility, wheelchair users, passengers with luggage, service carts and wider pedestrian traffic, while PG03-55 is intended for standard pedestrian lanes where a more compact 550 mm passage is preferred. PG03-90 is also available in single, double and combined layouts, supports selectable free/controlled operation and optional RS232, RS485 or TCP/IP integration, and includes provision for mounting third-party credential readers such as RFID, biometric or QR terminals. A typical entrance can therefore combine several PG03-55 standard lanes with one PG03-90 accessible lane, giving a consistent appearance and common access-control architecture across the full reception or lobby area. As an organized CAME partner and system integrator across the Middle East, VEGA Digital IT Solutions LLC can provide complete PG03-55 and PG03-90 implementation from site survey and pedestrian-flow planning through floor preparation, installation-template positioning, mechanical fixing, power and control cabling, master/slave configuration and access-control integration. VEGA Digital can connect the gates with RFID/card readers, facial-recognition or fingerprint terminals, QR visitor systems, visitor-management software, reception controls and fire-alarm/emergency-release interfaces, using dry contacts or the optional serial/TCP-IP communication modules where required. Final commissioning can include lane-direction programming, infrared-sensor calibration, obstruction and anti-tailgating tests, credential-reader verification, emergency and power-failure testing, access-control interface checks and operator training, providing a complete CAME pedestrian speed-gate and access-control solution for corporate towers, hotels, government buildings, commercial developments and premium facilities across the Middle East.
