he DaoSafe DS-Q70 Quantum Speed Gate is a premium high-speed pedestrian access-control solution designed for corporate offices, commercial towers, hotels, airports, government buildings, universities and other high-traffic entrances. It supports single-direction or bi-directional operation, a configurable passage width from approximately 600 mm to 1100 mm, and glass barrier heights from about 900 mm up to 1800 mm, allowing standard pedestrian, wheelchair, luggage and higher-security lane configurations. DaoSafe specifies up to 45 persons per minute on the current product page, while its Quantum catalogue lists up to 55 persons per minute for certain configurations; opening/closing performance is quoted at approximately 0.1–0.2 seconds depending on published version and setup. The DS-Q70 uses a 24 VDC drive supplied from 110/220 VAC, consumes around 20 W, is rated for approximately 15 million operating cycles, and supports indoor or outdoor deployment from roughly -20°C to +75°C. Security functions include anti-intrusion, anti-reverse and anti-tailgating alarms, automatic reset, red/green LED passage indication, six pairs of infrared sensors as standard, adjustable opening speed and automatic glass-arm opening during power failure or emergency evacuation. The DS-Q70 is designed for broad integration with modern authentication technologies and can work with RFID smart-card readers, QR/barcode scanners, fingerprint terminals, facial-recognition systems, palm-vein readers, touchless buttons, remote controls and third-party access controllers using dry contact, relay signals or RS485 communication. The transparent Plexiglas barrier wings can be customized in width and height, and DaoSafe also offers optional LED light strips within the glass arms, customized cabinet colour, dimensions, logo and infrared-sensor quantity. A standard 600 mm lane can therefore be combined with an 1100 mm accessible lane, while glass heights extending to 1800 mm can improve resistance to climbing in higher-security applications.
