DaoSafe DS401G

The DaoSafe DS401G Glass Full Height Turnstile is a premium high-security pedestrian entrance solution developed for locations where strong physical access control must be combined with a more elegant and transparent architectural appearance, including corporate headquarters, hotels, banks, embassies, fitness centres, government facilities and premium commercial developments. The DS401G combines a 304 stainless-steel framework with transparent acrylic rotor panels, providing the security characteristics of a full-height turnstile while creating a lighter visual appearance than conventional all-steel models. DaoSafe specifies overall dimensions of approximately 1400 × 1260 × 2300 mm, an internal height of about 2080 mm, a 673 mm clear passage, approximately 200 kg weight, and a 120° three-section rotor. The system supports both single-direction and bi-directional passage, approximately 30 persons per minute, and an MCBF of around 10 million operating cycles. It operates from 110/220 VAC, 50/60 Hz, uses 24 VDC internally, consumes approximately 40 W, and is specified for temperatures from around -15°C to +60°C and humidity up to 95% without freezing. The DS401G also incorporates several security, safety and user-management functions suited to controlled pedestrian entrances. Its mechanism uses an automatically regulated hydraulic buffer, helping the rotor move smoothly with reduced noise and impact, while the anti-tailgating design permits one person per authorized rotation. If a user receives authorization but does not pass, the turnstile can automatically relock after approximately five seconds, with the timing configurable according to project requirements. Red and green LED indicators show denied and permitted passage status, while a manual override key allows operation during selected fault or power conditions. For emergency evacuation, DaoSafe specifies that the rotor can automatically release when power is lost, providing free passage in accordance with the configured fire-safety strategy. Integration is flexible through dry contact, relay signals and RS485, allowing the DS401G to work with RFID/smart-card readers, fingerprint terminals, facial-recognition devices, biometric systems, QR/barcode readers and other third-party access-control platforms.
