DaoSafe DS408

The DaoSafe DS408 Full Height Turnstile with Wheelchair Gate is a high-security pedestrian entrance system designed for industrial facilities, construction sites, logistics centres, stadiums, government compounds, factories and other controlled sites where both standard pedestrian access and an accessible lane are required. It uses a full 304 stainless-steel structure, combines a three-section 120° full-height rotor with a dedicated wheelchair gate, and provides approximately 600 mm pedestrian passage and 900 mm wheelchair passage. DaoSafe specifies approximately 30 persons per minute, selectable single- or bi-directional operation, 10 million MCBF, 110/220 VAC 50/60 Hz supply, 24 VDC operating voltage, approximately 40 W consumption and an operating range of about -15°C to +60°C. Other functions include an automatic hydraulic buffer for smooth rotation, adjustable automatic relocking after authorization, one-person-per-rotation anti-tailgating control, red/green LED status indicators and automatic arm release during power failure to support emergency evacuation. Integration is available through dry contact, relay and RS485, allowing connection to RFID readers, facial-recognition terminals, QR/barcode readers, counters, push buttons and other access-control equipment. The related DS409 uses the same high-security full-height architecture but replaces the wheelchair lane with a dedicated 900 mm bicycle gate, while retaining an approximately 600 mm pedestrian lane, 30-person-per-minute flow rate, 10-million-cycle mechanism, 304 stainless-steel construction, LED indicators, hydraulic buffering and dry-contact/relay/RS485 integration. It is therefore particularly suitable for staff entrances, bicycle-parking facilities, industrial campuses and sites where cyclists need controlled access alongside pedestrians. For more exposed outdoor sites, the DS408FS adds a solid canopy/rain-protection roof above the DS408 concept and provides approximately 660 mm pedestrian plus 900 mm wheelchair passage, while maintaining 30-person-per-minute throughput, 10-million MCBF, 24 VDC operation, automatic emergency release and the same access-control integration options.
