Overview
The Matrix COSEC PATH Series is a compact, intelligent IP-based door access controller designed for access control, workforce management and time-attendance applications in corporate, commercial and enterprise environments. The latest PATH V2 platform supports up to 50,000 users and 500,000 event records, while fingerprint-enabled versions can store up to approximately 25,000 fingerprint templates for 1:N identification and 100,000 templates for 1:1 verification when equipped with the supported SFM6030 sensor. Authentication options include fingerprint, RFID card and Bluetooth Low Energy mobile credentials, depending on the selected model. Connectivity includes 10/100 Ethernet, IEEE 802.3af PoE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RS-232, RS-485 and Wiegand input/output, while built-in door interfaces support an exit switch, door-status sensing, lock relay and tamper detection. Its IP65-rated compact enclosure makes COSEC PATH suitable for both modern indoor installations and appropriate outdoor access points. The COSEC PATH range is available in six main door-controller variants, allowing the authentication technology to be selected according to each project. COSEC PATH DCFE combines fingerprint with 125 kHz EM Proximity cards, DCFM combines fingerprint with MIFARE smart-card technology, and DCFI combines fingerprint authentication with HID iCLASS/HID Prox credentials. For projects that require card and mobile access without an integrated fingerprint sensor, COSEC PATH DCCE supports BLE plus EM Prox cards, DCCM supports BLE plus MIFARE credentials, and DCCI supports BLE together with HID iCLASS/HID Prox cards. All variants share the PATH architecture with PoE, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, RS-485 and reader-integration capabilities, allowing organizations to standardize one controller family while selecting the appropriate credential technology for individual doors, departments or sites.
