FAAC 615BPR

The FAAC 615BPR Automatic Barrier is a proven 230 V hydraulic barrier designed for small and medium private areas, residential communities, offices, commercial entrances and car parks with medium vehicle transit frequency. It uses a single-phase asynchronous motor and hydraulic operator with locking in both opening and closing positions, providing secure and smooth movement. The standard version supports boom lengths up to 5 m, opens through 90° in approximately 5.7 seconds, and is rated for about 50% duty use; the Rapid version supports up to 2.5 m booms with approximately 3-second opening and around 40% duty use. FAAC specifies 220–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, maximum power around 220 W, maximum torque up to 400 Nm, IP44 protection, operating temperatures from approximately -20°C to +55°C, and an anti-crushing hydraulic safety device with electronically adjustable deceleration. The cabinet is manufactured from steel with protective primer and polyester coating and is available in Orange RAL 2004 or Grey RAL 9006. The 615BPR can be configured with several boom types to suit different entrance requirements, including rectangular boom, rectangular boom with skirt, articulated boom and round boom with lights. FAAC’s recommended installation accessories include the appropriate foundation plate, balancing springs, boom bracket, standard rectangular beam, XP30 photocells, XLED flashing light, XK10 key-operated selector, RP 433 SLH plug-in radio receiver and XT2 433 SLH LR remote transmitter. The hydraulic architecture is especially suitable where smooth movement and reliable mechanical locking are preferred, while the adjustable electronic slowdown allows the boom to approach its open and closed positions more gently. Compared with FAAC’s newer B614, which is a 24 V electromechanical continuous-duty barrier, the 615BPR remains a hydraulic solution optimized for medium-frequency vehicle control, making it suitable for entrances where reliability, controlled movement and compatibility with traditional FAAC accessories are more important than ultra-fast cycle rates.
