HANWHA PNM-9000VD

The Hanwha Vision PNM-9000VD is a professional 5 MP × 2-channel multidirectional network camera designed to replace multiple conventional cameras with one compact surveillance platform. It accepts two interchangeable 5 MP lens modules, providing a combined dual-direction architecture with up to 30 fps at all supported resolutions, 120 dB WDR, H.265/H.264/MJPEG compression and Hanwha Vision WiseStream II bandwidth optimization. Depending on the required viewing distance, compatible 5 MP modules are available with 3.7 mm, 4.6 mm and 7 mm fixed lenses, enabling VEGA Digital to configure different viewing directions and focal lengths from a single camera body. Dual microSD/SDHC/SDXC slots provide edge-recording capability, while IP66 and IK10 protection and PoE operation make the camera suitable for commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, retail areas, warehouses, parking zones and other indoor/outdoor surveillance applications. The expanded Hanwha Vision multidirectional family gives VEGA Digital several alternatives for different resolutions and coverage requirements. The PNM-12082RVD provides 6 MP × 2 channels, up to 3328 × 1872 per channel, 3.54–6.69 mm motorized varifocal lenses, 25 m IR, 120 dB WDR, TPM 2.0/FIPS 140-2 security and IP66/IP67/IK10/NEMA 4X protection; the PNM-7082RVD provides 2 MP × 2 channels, 3–6 mm motorized lenses, 25 m IR and robust outdoor protection. The newer PNM-C12083RVD adds an AI engine to the 6 MP × 2-channel architecture, classifying people, faces, vehicles and licence plates, supporting BestShot, WiseNR II, WiseStream III, 120 dB WDR and the same 25 m-class IR coverage. For wider four-direction surveillance, the PNM-9085RQZ1 provides 5 MP × 4-channel PTRZ architecture, while PNM-9084RQZ1 provides 2 MP × 4 channels with motorized PTRZ, 3.2–10 mm motorized lenses and approximately 30 m IR; the related PNM-9084QZ1 provides four 2 MP PTRZ channels without the same integrated IR configuration. The PNM-8082VT offers three 2 MP channels with 3–6 mm motorized varifocal lenses, WiseStream II and IP66/IK10/NEMA 4X protection, while the PNM-9002VQ supports four interchangeable 2 MP or 5 MP modules, delivering total configurations from approximately 8 MP to 20 MP, with up to 60 fps on 2 MP modules, 150 dB WDR on 2 MP modules and 120 dB WDR on 5 MP modules. For specialist applications, the TNM-3620TDY combines a thermal sensor with a visible 2 MP channel and was designed for temperature-detection and thermal-monitoring applications, making it fundamentally different from the conventional multidirectional PNM range.For system installation and SIRA-oriented deployment, VEGA Digital first conducts a detailed site survey identifying entrances and exits, reception areas, corridors, warehouses, parking zones, perimeter areas, lighting conditions, required identification distances, blind spots, mounting heights, network bandwidth, recording retention, NVR/VMS capacity and UPS requirements. The PNM-9000VD is positioned where its two independent 5 MP modules can cover separate directions from a single mounting point, while PNM-12082RVD/7082RVD models are used where motorized dual-channel adjustment and IR are required; four-channel PNM-9085RQZ1/9084RQZ1/9084QZ1 platforms are selected for broad multidirectional coverage, and PNM-9002VQ allows mixed 2 MP/5 MP lens modules to be chosen according to each viewing direction. Cameras are installed using suitable Hanwha Vision junction boxes, hanging/wall/pole accessories and protected CAT6/fibre infrastructure, then connected through managed PoE/PoE+ switches and dedicated CCTV VLANs to Hanwha Vision NVRs or compatible VMS platforms. Engineers configure H.265, WiseStream, WDR, IR, PTRZ positioning, analytics, privacy masking, NTP synchronization, recording schedules, event notifications and cybersecurity, followed by day/night image verification, field-of-view and focus checks, analytics testing, recording/playback and retention validation, network/UPS-failure testing and complete as-built documentation.
