Overview
The Hanwha Vision QNB-8002 is a professional 5 MP box network camera designed for commercial buildings, banks, hospitals, hotels, retail environments, warehouses, control rooms and other applications where flexible lens selection and reliable evidential imaging are required. It uses a 1/2.8-inch CMOS sensor and delivers up to 2592 × 1944 resolution at 30 fps, with colour sensitivity down to approximately 0.07 lux at F1.2, true Day/Night ICR and 120 dB WDR for entrances and other strongly backlit environments. The QNB-8002 supports interchangeable C/CS-mount DC auto-iris or manual lenses, allowing VEGA Digital to select the focal length according to the required identification or monitoring distance. Imaging and analytics include BLC, SSDR, SSNR, lens-distortion correction, hallway view, motion detection, defocus detection, tampering, virtual line crossing, directional detection and intrusion/enter/exit events. It supports H.265, H.264 and MJPEG, Hanwha WiseStream II, three streaming profiles, RS-485, alarm input/output, audio input/output, NAS recording and microSD storage up to 128 GB, together with ONVIF Profiles S/G/T, SUNAPI and PoE/12 VDC operation. Importantly for Dubai projects, the exact QNB-8002 is confirmed in SIRA's published Approved Camera List under certificate SIRA/2024/7/07890. VEGA Digital IT Solutions LLC, as a SIRA-approved CCTV/security solutions provider in Dubai and Hanwha Vision solution integrator, can therefore specify the QNB-8002 for SIRA-oriented projects while ensuring the current certificate and project requirements are revalidated at the time of submission. The related Hanwha Vision cameras provide different resolution and specialist capabilities within the same professional box-camera architecture. The QNB-6002 is the 2 MP version, offering 1920 × 1080 at 30 fps, 0.01 lux colour sensitivity, 120 dB WDR, C/CS-mount lens support, WiseStream II, 128 GB microSD storage and intelligent events such as defocus, motion, tampering, virtual area and line crossing. The exact QNB-6002 is also confirmed in SIRA's published list under SIRA/2024/7/07402. The PNB-A6001 is a higher-performance 2 MP AI box camera capable of up to 120 fps, with a large 1/2-inch sensor, 120 dB WDR, AI-based WiseNR II and WiseStream III, plus deep-learning detection and classification of people, faces, vehicles and license plates, facial attributes, BestShot, face-mask detection and social-distancing analytics; cybersecurity includes TPM, secure boot and FIPS 140-2 Level 2 protection. For intelligent road surveillance, the PNB-A9001LP is a 4K LPR/ANPR/MMCR box camera providing 3840 × 2160 resolution, 120 dB WDR and Wisenet Road AI, with CNN-based licence-plate recognition, make/model/colour recognition, black/white lists and SmartSearch by plate, country, brand, model, colour and date. At the highest-resolution end, the TNB-9000 is an extraordinary 8K / 32 MP box camera built around a 43.3 mm full-frame CMOS sensor, supporting 7680 × 4320 at 15 fps, 24 MP at 20 fps, 15 MP at 30 fps and 4K at 60 fps, with Canon EF-mount lenses, AI object detection/classification, attributes and BestShot, HDMI output, WiseStream II, SFP networking and HPoE. I did not verify the exact PNB-A6001, PNB-A9001LP or TNB-9000 in the SIRA camera record retrieved for this check, so those models should be described as suitable for SIRA-oriented CCTV solutions subject to exact-model approval verification, rather than automatically labelled SIRA Approved. For system installation and SIRA-oriented deployment, VEGA Digital first performs a detailed security survey covering entrances and exits, reception and cashier areas, restricted zones, required identification and recognition distances, lighting conditions, camera mounting heights, field of view, lens selection, network design, recording retention, NVR/VMS capacity and UPS requirements. Because the QNB-8002, QNB-6002, PNB-A6001 and PNB-A9001LP are professional box cameras with separate lenses, VEGA Digital selects the appropriate compatible C/CS-mount or specialist lens according to the required pixel density and scene geometry, while outdoor applications use a suitable IP-rated environmental housing and mounting bracket. The PNB-A9001LP is aligned specifically for vehicle lanes and licence-plate capture, while the TNB-9000 requires carefully selected Canon EF optics, network bandwidth and storage architecture to accommodate its extremely high resolution. Cameras are integrated through managed PoE switches and dedicated CCTV VLANs with Hanwha Vision NVRs or compatible VMS platforms, followed by configuration of H.265, WiseStream, WDR, analytics, privacy masking, recording schedules, event actions, NTP synchronization and cybersecurity.
