HIKVISION 2 Wire HD KIT

The HIKVISION 2-Wire HD Video Intercom Kit is designed for villas, apartments, residential towers, and retrofit projects where installers want modern HD video intercom while reusing existing two-core cabling. Hikvision’s 2-Wire platform carries power, audio, video, and control data over two wires, making upgrades much easier where replacing old cabling with CAT6 would be difficult. Typical HD/IP components include the DS-KD8003Y-IME2 / DS-KD8003-IME2 two-wire modular door station, DS-KH6320Y-WTE2 / DS-KH6320-WTE2 7-inch touchscreen indoor station, DS-KAD704Y video/audio distributor, and the larger-system DS-KAD706 / DS-KAD706-S distributors with DS-KAW60-2N power supply. The DS-KD8003 family provides a 2 MP HD camera, IR illumination, WDR, two-way audio, modular expansion, tamper detection, and IP65 outdoor protection, while the DS-KH6320 family provides a 7-inch 1024 × 600 touchscreen, Wi-Fi, Hik-Connect mobile control, voice messages, live viewing, alarm inputs, and remote door release. Older non-Y models such as DS-KD8003-IME2, DS-KH6320-WTE2, and DS-KAD706 are being replaced in many markets by newer Y-series products, and Hikvision notes that Y and legacy non-Y 2-wire devices should not be mixed directly without the proper bridging architecture. Within Hikvision’s wider 2-Wire Series, the main categories are 2-Wire IP, 2-Wire Analog, 2-Wire HD, and complete 2-Wire Kits. For 2-Wire IP, important related models include DS-KD8003Y-IME2 / DS-KD8003-IME2 door stations, DS-KH6320Y-WTE2 / DS-KH6320-WTE2 indoor stations, DS-KAD704Y, DS-KAD706Y, DS-KAD706, DS-KAD706-S, and DS-KAW60-2N; this category supports TCP/IP functions, Wi-Fi, Hik-Connect remote calling/unlocking, CCTV integration, and modular card-reader/keypad expansion. For 2-Wire Analog, Hikvision offers simpler plug-and-play systems such as the DS-KIS101-P kit, which uses the DS-KV1101-ME2 door station and DS-KH1200 indoor station and is intended for cost-sensitive residential installations. Under 2-Wire Kits, current/recent examples include DS-KIS702Y, supplied with DS-KD8003Y-IME2/Surface, DS-KH6320Y-WTE2, DS-KAD704Y, and DS-KAW30-2N, and DS-KIS703Y-P, which combines the DS-KV8103Y-IMPE2 door station, DS-KH6320Y-WTPE2 indoor station, and DS-KAB8103-IMEX mounting accessory. The DS-KIS703Y-P provides a 2 MP camera, 7-inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi/Hik-Connect, two-lock control, IP65 door station, and direct 12 V/500 mA lock-power output. VEGA Digital IT Solutions LLC supplies and integrates Hikvision 2-Wire HD, 2-Wire IP, 2-Wire Analog, DS-KIS702Y, DS-KIS703Y-P, and related 2-Wire systems across Dubai and the UAE. VEGA Digital can provide complete installations including door stations, indoor touchscreen monitors, DS-KAD704Y/706Y distributors, power supplies, modular RFID/card readers, keypads, electric strikes, magnetic locks, exit buttons, door contacts, Hik-Connect mobile access, and compatible Hikvision CCTV integration. System installation includes site survey, testing existing two-core cable quality and distance, voltage-drop assessment, distributor and floor-shunt design, door-station and monitor mounting, two-wire termination, lock wiring, TCP/IP and Wi-Fi setup, Hik-Connect registration, room/apartment numbering, credential programming, CCTV integration, testing, commissioning, and future expansion. Cable condition and conductor size are especially important: Hikvision publishes different maximum 2-wire distances depending on cable gauge and topology, so each retrofit should be checked before finalizing equipment placement.
