MAGNETIC Parking Pro

The MAGNETIC Parking Pro is a high-performance automatic barrier developed specifically for heavily frequented parking facilities, multi-storey car parks, underground garages and controlled vehicle entrances. It supports lane widths up to 3.5 m and offers a rapid 1.3-second opening and closing time, helping maintain fast vehicle throughput. At the core of the system is MAGNETIC’s MHTM™ drive, designed for quiet, energy-efficient and maintenance-free operation, with the barrier rated for approximately 10 million opening and closing cycles and 100% duty operation. Other published specifications include 85–264 VAC, 50/60 Hz input, maximum power consumption of about 95 W, IP54 protection and an operating temperature range from -30°C to +55°C. Parking Pro also incorporates the MGC Pro control system, an integrated two-channel induction-loop detector, selectable opening and closing speeds, configurable I/O and dedicated safety-device inputs. Its fast operation and vehicle-detection architecture are particularly useful for reducing tailgating and maintaining smooth traffic flow in busy parking applications.The Parking Pro platform can be customized extensively to suit different parking and access-control requirements. MAGNETIC lists options including an articulated boom for low-ceiling garages, boom extension sets, support posts, breakaway flange, boom-drop monitoring, illuminated booms, red/green light strips, hood lighting, key switches and battery backup. Communication and system-expansion options include Ethernet, RS485, CAN counting, GSM and radio modules, while additional detector modules and safety light barriers or laser scanners can be added where more advanced vehicle detection is required. The optional breakaway boom mechanism is especially useful in busy car parks because the boom can detach during a forced vehicle passage and subsequently be reattached without compromising normal system operation. MAGNETIC also offers VarioBoom and articulated boom arrangements within the Parking Pro family, allowing the barrier to be adapted to standard outdoor parking entrances as well as restricted-height basement garages.
