VANTAGE V-PM1200-TST3

The VANTAGE V-PM1200-TST3 Half Height Tripod Turnstile Gate Barrier is a heavy-duty semi-automatic pedestrian access-control solution designed for corporate offices, commercial towers, hotels, schools, gyms, industrial premises and other high-traffic controlled entrances. It provides a 550 mm passage width with a throughput of approximately 30–35 persons per minute and supports both unidirectional and bidirectional operation. The turnstile uses an electro-mechanical DC motor drive, automatically resets the tripod arms after every authorized passage and is rated for more than 5 million operating cycles with 100% duty-cycle operation. Additional features include LED status and direction indicators, adjustable passage timeout, wired terminal connections, fail-safe/fail-lock operation, fire-alarm integration and an optional drop-arm function that lowers the horizontal arm to provide an evacuation passage during an emergency. The chassis is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel, with AISI 316 available as an upgrade, and provides IP54 protection with optional IP56. Electrical specifications include 100–240 VAC input, 24 VDC operating voltage, approximately 30 W power consumption and operation from -25°C to +70°C. The V-PM1200-TST3 is particularly flexible for integration with modern access-control and attendance systems. VANTAGE provides dry-contact and relay interfaces using NO/NC/COM, with optional RS232 and RS485 communication, and the turnstile can accept an authorization signal from compatible RFID card readers or biometric readers through a normally-open input. This makes it suitable for integration with smart-card readers, fingerprint terminals, facial-recognition devices or other access-control equipment where the authentication device validates the user before releasing the tripod. In an emergency or power/mechanism failure, either one or both directions can be configured for free movement or locking in the home position, depending on the site's security policy. The unit measures approximately 1200 × 280 × 980 mm excluding the tripod arms, weighs around 45 kg including the arms, and carries CE, FCC and RoHS compliance.
