The Vanderbilt ACTpro-120 Controller RS485 with 2A 12VDC Power Supply is a single-door expansion module designed for use within the Vanderbilt ACTpro access control platform. It enables an additional door to be added to compatible ACTpro controllers such as the ACTpro-1500 and ACTpro-1520, communicating with the main controller through an RS485 connection. The ACTpro-120 includes an integrated 12V DC, 2A power supply, helping simplify installation by providing power for the door station and connected access control devices. The ACTpro-120 offers comprehensive door-control functionality, including a main relay rated at 5A/50V AC and an auxiliary relay rated at 1A/50V AC, request-to-exit input, door monitoring, break-glass monitoring, voltage monitoring, tamper monitoring and AC power-status monitoring. It supports Vanderbilt ACTpro readers using technologies such as 125 kHz RFID, MIFARE Classic and MIFARE DESFire EV1, and can accommodate both Clock & Data and Wiegand reader interfaces, including entry and exit reader configurations. Additional features include reader current limiting and short-circuit protection, status LEDs and interlocking functionality. The integrated power supply shares its available 2A output between the door station, battery charging, readers and locking devices, with Vanderbilt recommending that up to approximately 1.5A be allocated to locks and readers.
