Overview
The HID Aero® X1100 Intelligent Controller is a powerful, scalable access control controller designed for enterprise, commercial, government and other high-security environments. It provides onboard I/O support for up to two access points, with support for two Wiegand readers or up to four OSDP readers. The controller includes seven supervised or unsupervised inputs for monitoring door status, request-to-exit devices, power supply, battery, tamper and other general-purpose inputs, along with four Form-C relay outputs for controlling door locks and auxiliary equipment. With a credential capacity of up to 250,000 credentials, the X1100 is well suited for both medium-sized installations and larger access control networks. The HID Aero X1100 is designed for expansion and advanced security. By connecting HID Aero X100, X200 and X300 expansion modules, the controller can scale to manage as many as 64 access points, 64 readers, 615 inputs and 388 outputs. It supports OSDP Secure Channel for encrypted, bidirectional reader communication, while communication between the intelligent controller and compatible I/O modules can be protected using AES-256 encryption. Additional security features include TLS 1.2 mutual authentication, cryptographic protection for sensitive keys and passwords, and configurable threat levels that can instantly change access permissions during lockdown or emergency situations.
