HID Aero® X300

The HID Aero® X300 Output Control Interface Module is a high-performance expansion module designed for access control, elevator management, security automation and other applications that require control of multiple outputs from a centralized system. The X300 provides onboard I/O support for up to 12 general-purpose control outputs and five supervised or unsupervised monitor inputs, making it ideal for controlling door locks, elevator floor relays, alarm devices, warning indicators, lighting interfaces and other connected security equipment. The module provides 12 non-latching Form-C relay outputs with dry contacts, each rated at 2A at 30 VDC resistive, and operates from a 12–24 VDC power source. It connects to the HID Aero X1100 Intelligent Controller, allowing multiple X300 modules to be added when additional outputs are required. A key advantage of the HID Aero X300 is its ability to support sophisticated security automation and elevator access control. When combined with the custom rules engine of the HID Aero X1100, the X300 can execute advanced logic based on monitored input conditions and programmed events, enabling administrators to create automated responses for alarms, lockdowns, door conditions and other security scenarios. For elevator applications, it can work with the X1100 elevator processing engine to control individual floor access through its relay outputs. Communication between Aero intelligent controllers and I/O modules can be protected using AES-256 encryption, while dedicated cryptographic hardware helps protect sensitive keys and passwords from malicious attacks. The X300 measures approximately 164 × 140 × 26 mm, operates from 0°C to 70°C, and has a maximum input current of approximately 500 mA, making it suitable for installation inside professional access-control cabinets and security enclosures.
