Overview
The HID Signo Reader 20K is a compact, multi-technology access control reader with an integrated keypad, designed for locations where both card-based and PIN-based authentication are required. Its slim mullion-mount design makes it suitable for installation on narrow door frames while providing support for a wide range of credential technologies, including HID Seos, iCLASS SE, iCLASS, MIFARE DESFire, MIFARE Classic and HID Prox credentials. The reader is also designed to support HID Mobile Access using Bluetooth and NFC, allowing organizations to use smartphones and compatible mobile credentials as part of their physical access control system. The integrated keypad enables additional authentication methods such as Card + PIN, helping organizations implement stronger access security for sensitive areas. The HID Signo 20K combines flexible credential support with advanced security and communication capabilities. It supports modern OSDP communication for secure, bidirectional connectivity between the reader and compatible access control panels, while Wiegand support enables integration with many existing access control infrastructures.
