The Hikvision DS-K3B211LX Value Swing Barrier is a compact pedestrian entrance-control solution designed for corporate offices, commercial buildings, hotels, schools, hospitals and controlled reception areas. It uses a brushless motor rated for at least 3 million operating cycles, with four pairs of infrared detectors supporting permission validation, pedestrian detection and anti-tailgating functions. The barrier supports approximately 20–60 persons per minute, depending on authentication method and walking speed, with configurable lane widths from around 550 mm to 900 mm. Its barrier is made from 8 mm acrylic glass, while the pedestal uses SUS304 stainless steel. Other functions include LED direction indication, automatic cancellation of unused passage permission and a fire-alarm input that releases the wings for emergency free passage. The DS-K3B411BLX uses essentially the same physical barrier platform—six IR detector pairs, 550–1100 mm lane, brushless motor, >3-million-cycle rating, IPX4 protection and 20–60-person/minute flow—but does not include the built-in access controller. This makes the BLX version preferable when the project already uses an external Hikvision controller or another centralized access-control architecture, while the BX version is ideal where a more self-contained gate/controller solution is required.
