The Hikvision DS-K3G501BLX Pro Tripod Turnstile is a robust pedestrian access-control barrier designed for corporate offices, factories, schools, commercial buildings, government facilities, staff entrances and other controlled pedestrian areas. It uses a 550 mm passage lane, stainless-steel tripod arms and a strong 1.5 mm SUS304 stainless-steel pedestal, with a rated mechanical life of at least 3 million operations. Hikvision specifies a typical throughput of 30–60 persons per minute, depending on the authentication and pedestrian flow. The DS-K3G501BLX is designed as the simpler barrier version without a built-in access controller, making it suitable for projects where VEGA Digital integrates an external Hikvision access controller, card reader, face-recognition terminal or QR-code reader. It includes dual exit-button interfaces and a fire-alarm input, and the barrier can be configured so that the arm drops or releases for emergency evacuation. The unit is rated IPX4 and is listed for outdoor waterproof applications, operating from approximately -20 °C to 65 °C. The more compact DS-K3G411CX uses a smaller 502 × 202 × 1010 mm pedestal and 1.2 mm SUS304 construction while still providing an integrated controller, 500,000-card and 500,000-event capacity, Ethernet, RS-485, RS-232, Wiegand, fire-alarm input, web configuration and ISAPI support. The DS-K3G411CX/Modular adds modular peripheral flexibility, allowing VEGA Digital to configure card, face or QR authentication according to the project while retaining the same 550 mm lane, 30–60 persons-per-minute throughput and ≥3 million-cycle design. For system installation, VEGA Digital first performs a site survey to confirm the entrance width, required number of lanes, pedestrian direction, power source, network points, floor condition, fire-alarm interface and selected authentication method. The tripod turnstile is then positioned and mechanically fixed to the finished concrete floor, with sufficient clearance for the 550 mm lane and convenient service access. Power, Ethernet, RS-485/RS-232, Wiegand, exit buttons, fire-alarm connections and peripheral devices are connected according to the selected model. For DS-K3G501BLX, the external Hikvision access controller and readers are installed separately; for DS-K3G501BX, DS-K3G501CX or DS-K3G411CX, the integrated controller can be configured directly.
