KR900 Series

The ZKTeco KR900 Series is a high-security RFID reader family designed for modern access-control installations that require fast credential verification, flexible mounting options, and reliable indoor or outdoor operation. The series supports both 125 kHz ID cards and 13.56 MHz IC cards, with card verification typically completed in less than 0.3 seconds and a recognition distance of up to approximately 4 cm. It is available in six models—KR901, KR901S, KR902, KR902S, KR903, and KR904—with selected models offering a 12-key physical keypad for Card + Password authentication. All models include tamper detection, LED status indication, and an audible buzzer to provide clear feedback during access transactions. The KR900 Series is designed for flexible integration with both ZKTeco and third-party access-control systems. Communication options include Wiegand output and, on supported versions, RS-485 using ZK-RS485, while ZKTeco also specifies support for OSDP 2.1.7 in the series’ launch documentation. This allows the readers to be connected to ZKTeco standalone terminals, access controllers, and compatible third-party panels. The readers operate from 9–12 VDC, support temperatures from approximately -20°C to +60°C, and carry an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water. Mounting options vary by model, including mullion mounting, single-gang or European-gang-box mounting, Asian-gang-box mounting, and flat-surface installation.
