ZKTeco EC10 & EX16

The ZKTeco EC10 & EX16 is a dedicated elevator access-control solution designed to restrict and manage access to individual floors based on authorized user credentials. The EC10 Elevator Control Panel can directly control up to 10 floors and supports authentication through fingerprint, proximity card and password, along with configurable time schedules that determine when particular users can access specific floors. It also supports Passage Mode, allowing selected floors to remain unrestricted during predefined business or visiting hours. The EC10 provides capacity for approximately 3,000 fingerprints, 30,000 RFID cards and 100,000 event records, while communication to the management PC is available through TCP/IP and RS485. The EX16 Elevator Floor Extension Board expands the EC10 by adding control for an additional 16 floors per board. Each EC10 can support up to three EX16 expansion boards through RS485, allowing a single EC10 system to manage as many as 58 floors in total—10 floors from the EC10 plus 48 floors from three EX16 modules. For still larger buildings, multiple EC10 panels can be daisy-chained, providing a scalable architecture for high-rise towers and multi-building projects. Each EX16 operates on 12 VDC / 1 A, uses DIP switches for RS485 addressing and provides 16 floor-control relays.
