Nitgen Fingkey Access 2

The NITGEN Fingkey Access 2 is a professional fingerprint-based access control and time-attendance terminal designed for organizations that require reliable biometric authentication with flexible credential options. It incorporates NITGEN’s high-performance fingerprint matching engine with a 500 DPI optical sensor and Live Finger Detection (LFD) technology to help distinguish genuine fingerprints from fraudulent attempts. The terminal supports fingerprint, RF card and password authentication, including multi-factor combinations for enhanced security. It can store up to approximately 20,000 fingerprint templates for 10,000 users and around 100,000 event logs, with verification typically completed in under one second for 1:1 authentication. A backlit touch keypad, graphical LCD and programmable F1–F4 function keys provide a simple interface for both access-control and attendance applications. The Fingkey Access 2 is engineered for both standalone and networked security deployments, supporting communication through TCP/IP, RS-232, RS-485 and Wiegand input/output. This allows it to integrate with centralized access-control software, secondary readers and existing door-security infrastructure. It can directly interface with equipment such as electromagnetic locks, electric strikes, deadbolts and automatic doors, while its LAN-based architecture enables multiple terminals at different locations to be monitored and managed centrally. An IP65-rated enclosure provides protection against dust and water, making the terminal suitable for indoor and appropriate outdoor installations, with an operating temperature range of approximately -20°C to +60°C.
