SpeedFace-H5L
Linux-based Hybrid biometric Access Control and Time Attendance Terminal
Key Features
Touchless Biometric Authentication: Uses visible light facial recognition and computer vision to improve hygiene and support masked individual identification.
Multi-Biometric Verification: Supports multiple verification methods including face, fingerprint, palm (on [P] models), RFID cards (125kHz EM or 13.56MHz IC), and passwords.
Advanced Anti-Spoofing: Equipped with an algorithm to protect against print attacks (laser, color, and B/W photos), video attacks, and 3D mask attacks.
Adjustable Lighting: Includes built-in supplement lighting with adjustable brightness for accurate recognition in various lighting conditions.
Mask Detection: Performs facial verification while users wear masks and features dedicated mask detection
Overview
The ZKTeco SpeedFace-H5L is a Linux-based hybrid biometric access control and time-attendance terminal designed for fast, contactless and multi-factor authentication. It combines visible-light facial recognition, fingerprint verification, optional RFID card authentication and password access, making it suitable for offices, commercial buildings, schools, warehouses and other controlled-entry environments. The terminal features a 5-inch touchscreen, a 2 MP WDR low-light camera, adjustable supplementary LED lighting and ZKTeco’s anti-spoofing technology, which is designed to defend against attacks using printed photos, videos and 3D masks. It supports up to approximately 6,000 face templates, 10,000 fingerprints, 10,000 optional cards, 3,000 palm templates and 200,000 transaction records, with facial recognition typically completed in one second or less. The SpeedFace-H5L is engineered for flexible integration with modern access-control infrastructure. Communication options include TCP/IP, optional Wi-Fi, Wiegand input/output and RS-485, while dedicated interfaces are provided for third-party electric locks, door sensors, exit buttons, alarm outputs and auxiliary inputs. Standard access-control functions include access levels, groups, holidays, anti-passback, multiple verification modes, record querying, tamper alarm and ADMS connectivity. The unit runs on a 900 MHz dual-core processor with 512 MB RAM and 8 GB flash memory, operates from a 12 VDC / 3 A power supply, and supports ZKBio CVAccess for centralized access-management configuration. These features make the H5L a practical solution for organizations that need biometric authentication together with conventional door-control functions in one terminal. VEGA Digital IT Solutions LLC provides the ZKTeco SpeedFace-H5L as a professional vendor, supplier and system integrator across Dubai, the UAE and the wider Middle East, supporting complete biometric access-control projects from design through commissioning. VEGA Digital can integrate the H5L with electromagnetic locks, electric strikes, door contacts, request-to-exit devices, emergency break-glass units, turnstiles, access controllers, network infrastructure and ZKTeco management software. Services include site surveys, facial and fingerprint enrollment, card and palm credential configuration, TCP/IP and Wi-Fi setup, Wiegand/RS-485 integration, door-lock and alarm programming, access-level and anti-passback configuration, attendance integration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and future expansion. This enables customers to deploy a secure, scalable and centrally managed biometric access-control and attendance solution for corporate offices, educational facilities, warehouses, commercial buildings and other projects throughout the Middle East.
