TiSO HIGHWAY-G/NG

The TiSO HighWay-G/NG is a premium full-height motorized pedestrian turnstile designed for high-security entrances where a conventional rotating full-height turnstile would be too industrial in appearance. It is particularly suited to corporate headquarters, government facilities, banks, airports, data centres, premium commercial buildings and secured internal zones. Both HighWay-G and HighWay-NG provide an approximately 1000 mm clear passage, overall dimensions of about 2228 × 1205 × 1300 mm, and an opening/closing time of approximately 1.5 seconds. TiSO specifies around 20 persons per minute for controlled single access and up to 60 persons per minute in free-flow operation, with bi-directional operation, anti-tailgating detection, access-control integration and fire-alarm emergency opening. The system uses TiSO’s BMDrive® servo-driven BLDC mechanism together with the ToothLock® locking system, is rated for approximately 10 million operating cycles, works from 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz or 12 VDC, and has an IP41 protection rating. High-precision safety sensors monitor the entire passage, while digital control of leaf force and movement helps prevent the glass barriers from striking pedestrians or being damaged during abnormal passage attempts. The HighWay-G is the more transparent architectural version, combining AISI 304 brushed stainless steel with impact-resistant tempered-glass side panels and high glass leaves. Its tall barriers prevent users from climbing over the gate or transferring objects above it, while maintaining excellent visibility through the passage. HighWay-G additionally features TiSO EdgeLights®, illuminating the glass housing in different colours—typically blue for standby, green for authorized access and red for denied access—together with RFIDLights® and DotLights® around the reader and status areas. The related HighWay-NG uses the same BMDrive®, ToothLock®, 1000 mm passage and 1.5-second operating architecture but has a more solid stainless-steel housing without the transparent glass side construction, making it suitable where a stronger visual security presence is preferred. Both versions can be ordered in AISI 304 or AISI 316 brushed or polished stainless steel, or customized RAL powder-coated finishes. During a fire alarm, the gates open automatically to provide free entry/exit; during a power failure they are fail-safe and can be opened manually, with an optional supercapacitor enabling automatic emergency opening. For VEGA Digital IT Solutions LLC’s TiSO integration projects across Dubai and the UAE, HighWay-G/NG can be implemented as a complete high-security entrance-management system beginning with site survey, pedestrian-flow and emergency-egress analysis, selection of the HighWay-G glass or HighWay-NG solid configuration, and preparation of the required floor foundation and cable routes. Installation can include mechanical anchoring, 100–240 VAC power, low-voltage and Cat6/network cabling, RFID/smart-card reader mounting, facial-recognition or fingerprint terminals, QR-code readers, access-controller interfacing, fire-alarm integration and multi-lane synchronization.
