TiSO SLIDE

The TiSO SLIDE Speed Gate is a premium high-glass pedestrian access-control solution developed for locations where strong physical protection, elegant design and smooth high-volume passage are required, including corporate offices, banks, hotels, government buildings, commercial towers and premium reception areas. Unlike conventional swing gates, SLIDE uses a distinctive folding high-glass leaf system that reduces the space required for the barrier movement while providing a substantial physical obstacle against unauthorized passage or the transfer of objects over the gate. TiSO equips the SLIDE with its BMDrive® servo-driven BLDC mechanism and FoldEmLock® locking system, delivering smooth, controlled operation with an MCBF of approximately 10 million cycles and maintenance time specified at less than 25 minutes. Two main configurations are available: SLIDE 550, with a 550 mm passage and approximately 0.7-second opening/closing, and SLIDE 900, with a 900 mm accessible passage and around 1.0-second operation. Glass-leaf heights can be specified at approximately 850, 1200, 1500 or 1800 mm, while TiSO’s current catalogue lists around 30 persons/minute controlled throughput and up to 60 persons/minute in free-flow mode, together with anti-tailgating, bi-directional operation, manual control and fire-alarm integration.The SLIDE 550 and SLIDE 900 allow VEGA Digital to configure the same architectural platform for standard pedestrian and accessible/wide lanes within a coordinated multi-lane entrance. The unit uses a slim cabinet approximately 154 mm wide and 1435 mm long, with brushed AISI 304 stainless steel as standard; optional finishes include brushed or polished AISI 316, polished AISI 304 and custom RAL powder coating, enabling the gate to match premium interiors. Power can be supplied from 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz or 12 VDC, with maximum published consumption of approximately 160 W. User guidance is provided through TiSO’s DotLights®, RFIDLights®, EdgeLights® and FloorLights®, while the gate supports integration with third-party RFID, smart-card, biometric, facial-recognition and QR access-control systems. During a fire alarm, the leaves open automatically for free entry/exit; during a normal power failure the system is fail-safe and can be opened manually, while an optional supercapacitor can automatically open the leaves. With barrier heights up to 1.8 m, the SLIDE is particularly suitable for higher-security reception areas where conventional waist-height speed gates may not provide enough protection. Installation can include precision floor preparation and anchoring, 100–240 VAC power, low-voltage and Cat6/network cabling, access-reader mounting, controller and relay/communication wiring, fire-alarm integration and synchronization of multiple lanes.
