ZKTeco DM10

The ZKTeco DM10 is a compact single-door lock extension panel designed to expand compatible ZKTeco access-control devices through RS485 communication. It works with supported terminals and controllers such as the F18, Horus and C2-260, allowing an additional controlled door to be added without installing a completely separate main controller. The DM10 itself does not store user information or make access decisions; instead, credential verification and access logic are processed by the connected access-control device, while the DM10 handles the physical door-control functions. This distributed architecture makes it particularly useful for expanding existing ZKTeco installations in offices, commercial buildings, warehouses and multi-door facilities. The DM10 provides the essential interfaces required for a complete controlled doorway. It supports two Wiegand readers, allowing entry and exit reader configurations where required, along with 12V power input and output for connected equipment. Door-management interfaces include one lock sensor, one exit-button input, one auxiliary input and one auxiliary output, giving integrators flexibility to connect electric locks, door contacts, request-to-exit devices and auxiliary security equipment. Its RS485 architecture also makes system expansion straightforward; for example, ZKTeco specifies that the C2-260 can connect to up to eight DM10 modules, increasing a two-door controller installation to as many as 10 controlled doors.
