ZKTeco FR1200

The ZKTeco FR1200 is a compact biometric fingerprint and RFID reader designed for secure access-control applications where reliable user verification and flexible integration are required. It uses ZKTeco’s 500 dpi optical fingerprint sensor and supports fingerprint authentication together with 125 kHz ID cards as standard and optional 13.56 MHz IC cards. Fingerprint verification is completed in under 0.3 seconds, with a specified false-acceptance rate of ≤0.0001% and false-rejection rate of ≤0.01%. The FR1200 supports both ZKFingerprint V10.0 and V13.0 algorithms, making it suitable for integration with current ZKTeco biometric systems. The FR1200 is designed primarily as a slave biometric reader working with compatible ZKTeco access controllers and fingerprint terminals. Communication is available through ZK-RS485 and OSDP Version 2.1.7, while fingerprint templates transmitted over RS485 can be protected using AES-128 encryption. The device is compatible with platforms such as the InBio Pro Plus Series, and its compact 102 × 50 × 38 mm body supports both wall and mullion mounting. Additional features include LED and buzzer feedback, 9–24 VDC power input, IP65 environmental protection, ABS housing and an operating temperature range of approximately 0°C to 45°C, making it suitable for both indoor and appropriate outdoor access points.
