ZKTeco QR50

The ZKTeco QR50 is an intelligent QR code and RFID access-control reader designed for applications that require fast, contactless credential verification. It supports a wide range of barcode formats, including QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417, EAN13, EAN8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93 and Codabar, and can recognize codes through 360° rotation with approximately ±45° tilt, helping users present digital or printed credentials conveniently. The QR50 family is available in QR50BE, QR50WE, QR50BM and QR50WM versions, with black or white finishes and support for either 125 kHz ID cards or 13.56 MHz IC cards depending on the model. Its typical reading distance is approximately 5 cm or more for codes and 4 cm or more for RFID cards, making it suitable for visitor access, community management, hotels, offices and other controlled-entry environments. The QR50 is designed for straightforward integration with both ZKTeco and compatible third-party access-control platforms. Communication interfaces include Wiegand, RS485 and USB, allowing the reader to connect to controllers that support standard Wiegand input or ZKTeco RS485 communication. It operates from 12 VDC ±5% or 5 V USB power, supports temperatures from approximately -20°C to +60°C, and has a compact 86 × 86 × 50 mm form factor. Its combination of rapid scanning, broad barcode compatibility and integrated RFID capability makes it particularly effective for visitor-management systems, temporary QR credentials, mobile ticketing, unmanned retail, residential communities and commercial access-control applications where both physical cards and digital QR credentials may be used.
