Overview
The Hanwha Vision BRB-X1610SE is a compact 16-channel BLAZE recording appliance designed for small-to-medium commercial CCTV systems requiring fast deployment, integrated PoE, secure remote access and cloud-connected video management. It comes with BLAZE Client, Server and 16 Premium recording licences pre-installed, supports up to 150 Mbps recording bandwidth, and provides two 3.5-inch SATA drive bays with up to 32 TB total storage and RAID 1 support. Eight onboard PoE network ports provide a combined 100 W PoE budget, while two additional Gigabit Ethernet interfaces support LAN and surveillance-network connectivity. The appliance uses a hardened operating system with 32 GB eMMC system storage and 8 GB DDR4 memory, provides 4K HDMI and 4K DisplayPort video outputs, front USB 2.0 and rear USB 3.0 connectivity, and supports two-way audio through a USB microphone. Security and compliance features include FIPS 140-3 Level 3 security, NDAA compliance, UL listing and FCC certification. BLAZE also supports secure remote access, desktop/mobile/web clients, AI metadata, similarity search and multi-site federation through Hanwha Vision Cloud, allowing the BRB-X1610SE to operate as part of a unified Hanwha ecosystem. VEGA Digital IT Solutions LLC, as a SIRA-approved CCTV/security solutions provider in Dubai and Hanwha Vision solutions supplier and system integrator, can design, supply and commission BRB-X1610SE-based CCTV recording systems for offices, retail outlets, warehouses, schools, hospitality sites and multi-branch commercial environments. The expanded Hanwha Vision BLAZE appliance family provides additional configurations according to camera count, storage and PoE requirements. The BRB-X1610E is the non-PoE 16-channel version, retaining 150 Mbps recording, two HDD bays, up to 32 TB storage, RAID 1, hardened OS and dual Gigabit Ethernet, making it suitable where cameras are powered through separate managed PoE switches. The BRB-X32101E increases capacity to 32 channels, approximately 250 Mbps recording bandwidth, four SATA drive bays and up to 64 TB storage, while also using dual Gigabit networking without integrated PoE. The BRB-X3210S1E combines the same 32-channel / 250 Mbps / 64 TB recording architecture with 16 onboard PoE ports and a 200 W PoE power budget, making it particularly useful for standalone branch or commercial installations where camera power and recording can be consolidated into one appliance. For system installation and SIRA-oriented deployment, VEGA Digital first calculates the required camera count, resolutions, frame rates, aggregate recording bitrate, storage-retention period, RAID requirements, PoE load, network bandwidth, remote-viewing requirements and future expansion. The BRB-X1610SE is installed in a secure, ventilated CCTV rack or equipment cabinet with enterprise surveillance HDDs and UPS-backed power; up to eight cameras can be powered directly from its onboard PoE interfaces, while additional or higher-power devices can be connected through separate managed PoE switches. Engineers configure BLAZE camera registration, recording profiles, continuous/event schedules, users and roles, AI metadata, similarity search, remote/cloud access, federation, NTP synchronization, RAID monitoring, cybersecurity and alarm/event handling, followed by full-channel recording tests, playback verification, HDD/RAID checks, PoE-load testing, remote-client testing, bandwidth and retention validation, network/UPS-failure testing and complete as-built documentation.
