Overview
The Hanwha Vision TRM-810S is a rugged 8-channel, 8 MP H.265 mobile network video recorder designed specifically for buses, trains, trucks, emergency vehicles, logistics fleets and other transportation CCTV applications where vibration resistance, compact installation and reliable onboard recording are essential. It supports up to 8 network cameras, H.265/H.264/MJPEG and WiseStream compression, and provides up to 80 Mbps recording bandwidth. Eight RJ-45 PoE camera connections simplify onboard camera installation, while two front-swappable SATA bays support HDD or SSD storage and RAID 1 for recording redundancy. The TRM-810S also supports GPS information, Wi-Fi, HDMI/VGA local monitoring, SUNAPI/ONVIF cameras and automatic wireless backup, with transportation-focused certification including EN50155/EN61373 and an operating range designed for mobile environments. GPS and vehicle-speed metadata can be associated with recorded video, while remote monitoring and integration with Hanwha transportation management software provide additional fleet-management capability. VEGA Digital IT Solutions LLC, as a SIRA-approved CCTV/security solutions provider in Dubai and Hanwha Vision supplier and system integrator across the Middle East, can integrate the TRM-810S into complete vehicle CCTV, networking, recording and fleet-monitoring solutions. Because it is a recorder, the exact TRM-810S should only be described as individually “SIRA Approved” when its precise hardware model, firmware and channel configuration are confirmed in SIRA’s current Recorder & VMS Approval Record. The expanded Hanwha transportation and recording family provides several options according to vehicle size and channel requirement. The TRM-410S is a compact 4-channel mobile NVR supporting up to 8 MP cameras, approximately 50 Mbps recording, four PoE camera connections, H.265/H.264/MJPEG/WiseStream, two front-access SATA bays, GPS/Wi-Fi functions and transportation-standard certification, making it suitable for taxis, minibuses and smaller fleet vehicles. The TRM-1610S expands capacity to 16 channels and up to 12 MP, with approximately 128 Mbps recording bandwidth, GPS/Wi-Fi, Google Maps integration, RAID 1 and transportation certification; the closely related TRM-1610M provides the same 16-channel mobile-recorder architecture but uses M12 network connectors, which are particularly suitable for vibration-prone rail and vehicle installations. For centralized fleet management, the TAW-4000H16 Transportation Monitoring System appliance can manage recordings and events from up to 128 mobile recorders per appliance, provides approximately 520 Mbps recording capacity, 16 hot-swappable HDD bays up to 160 TB, RAID 0/1/5/6, GPS-based area search, automatic Wi-Fi backup and reports covering items such as overspeed, geofencing and vehicle events; server clustering can scale the platform substantially for large transport operations. For conventional fixed-site CCTV rather than mobile transport, LRN-1610S provides 16 channels, 5 MP support, 100 Mbps recording, 16 PoE ports and two SATA bays up to 12 TB, while LRN-410S provides 4 channels, 30 Mbps recording, four PoE ports and one SATA drive up to 6 TB. These models should each be verified individually against the current SIRA recorder/VMS record before any exact hardware SKU is described as SIRA Approved. For system installation and SIRA-oriented deployment, VEGA Digital first determines the vehicle type, number and location of cameras, required resolution and frame rate, retention period, storage type, vibration exposure, ignition/power architecture, GPS requirements, Wi-Fi/4G connectivity, driver or passenger monitoring areas and centralized fleet-management requirements. The TRM-810S/TRM-410S/TRM-1610S/TRM-1610M recorders are installed in protected, ventilated vehicle locations using secure mounting and vibration-resistant practices; PoE or M12-connected cameras are positioned to cover the driver area, passenger cabin, doors, vehicle exterior and road view as required, while GPS and Wi-Fi antennas are positioned for reliable reception. Engineers configure H.265/WiseStream recording, continuous/event schedules, GPS time synchronization, vehicle metadata, PoE camera management, RAID where supported, Wi-Fi automatic backup, remote monitoring and cybersecurity, while larger fleets can connect to the TAW-4000H16/TMS architecture for centralized maps, event handling, video retrieval and fleet reporting.
