The HIKVISION DS-K1102A Pro Series Card Reader is a professional access-control reader designed for offices, commercial buildings, data centres, warehouses, residential developments and other controlled-entry applications. It supports RS-485 and Wiegand W26/W34 communication, tamper alarm, built-in audible status indication and DIP-switch configuration, allowing it to integrate with Hikvision access controllers as well as compatible third-party systems. The DS-K1102A platform is available for different credential technologies: DS-K1102AE/AEK support 125 kHz EM cards, DS-K1102AM/AMK support 13.56 MHz M1 cards, and DS-K1102AEM/AEMK provide dual-frequency credential support; “K” versions add a 12-key numeric keypad. The reader operates from 12 VDC, consumes no more than about 2 W, supports wall/gang-box installation and is designed for dependable everyday access-control applications. DS-K1101 is a compact M1/EM reader family supporting RS-485/Wiegand and an IP64 enclosure; DS-K1103 is a 13.56 MHz M1 reader available as DS-K1103M and keypad-equipped DS-K1103MK. DS-K1104 is the more rugged metal vandal-resistant reader, supporting M1 credentials, RS-485/Wiegand, OSDP and IK10 protection, with M and MK keypad versions. DS-K1107AE is a slim 125 kHz EM reader with RS-485/Wiegand, tamper protection and buzzer; its related family includes EM/M1 and keypad versions. DS-K1108A moves to a newer credential platform, with variants supporting 125 kHz EM or M1/DESFire/FeliCa, together with RS-485, Wiegand and OSDP. The newer DS-K1109DB combines M1/DESFire/FeliCa card reading with Bluetooth, while the DS-K1109 architecture can additionally provide keypad, fingerprint and QR-code options depending on model—for example K, F and QR designations—and supports RS-485/Wiegand and IP65 outdoor protection.
